We are offering two workshops in June. Jane will be leading a restorative yoga class Sunday, June 9th from 1 – 2:30 PM. Take some time for yourself. Take a step down your path of health and wellness by joining Jane on the mat. Come unwind from all the summer heat with this cooling practice. Restorative Yoga focuses on rest, relaxation and renewal. These gentle poses create physiological responses which are beneficial to your health and can reduce the effects of stress-related illness.The class is slow, deeply nurturing and suitable for all ages – particularly those with chronic pain or limitations. If you need to be healed or if you need rest, this is the class for you. All yoga mat postures are supported with yoga props (blankets, blocks, bolsters, chairs) and held for much longer than our traditional Hatha classes.Susan will be leading an introductory to vinyasa flow yoga Sunday, June 23rd. Vinyasa Flow or Flow Yoga is when asanas or poses are connected with the breath as if creating a song with the body. Sometimes referred to as a moving meditation, Vinyasa Flow Yoga will help you learn to control your breath which will bring strength to the body and balance to the mind. We will guide you through a meaningful yoga flow that will give insight as to how the breath can guide your practice. Come join us to bring harmony to the body, dancing through poses, creating a flow that draws upon your inner strength and cultivating heat within the body.
